Governor Paterson’s Budget Doesn’t Provide Needed Reforms

Governor Paterson’s budget 2010-11 budget proposal, released earlier today, recognizes the need for lawsuit reform by exempting the MTA from frivolous lawsuits but continues to ignore the rest of the State and the many benefits — both fiscal and economical — which New Yorkers could reap from comprehensive, commonsense lawsuit reform.
